Youth Baseball

Tball1Youth Baseball Instructional Program:

Fun as well as learning basic baseball skills and rules is the emphasis of this local baseball program. Teams practice one day each week and play games one day each week. T-Ball is our introduction to baseball program. Children ages 5, 6, and 7 play with a soft baseball hit from a tee to overcome the fear of being hit by the ball. Little Sluggers is a “coach-pitch” program for the older children ages 8, 9, 10 while still using a soft baseball.

Practice Dates/Times: Tuesdays 6/5, 6/7, 6/12, 6/19, 6/26, 7/3, 7/10
**Times vary per team and/or coach (Start times are either 3:30pm, 4:30pm, 5:30pm, or 6:30pm)

Game Dates/Times: Thursdays 6/14, 6/21, 6/28, 7/5, 7/12
T-Ball:  5:30-6:30pm
Little Sluggers:  6:30-7:30pm

-DROP-OFF:  Print Youth Registration Form, fill out, and return with payment to EVRPD Administrative Offices.
Cash, check, Visa, or Mastercard are accepted forms of payment.  Located at 690 Big Thompson Ave, Estes Park, CO, 80517. 
Open Monday thru Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Rockies Skill Challenge:

4StarThis is a FREE local competition for boys and girls, ages 6-13 years old.  Players will test their skills in running, hitting and throwing. Winners advance to regional and state competitions.  State finalists will receive a Rockies Skills Challenge T-shirt and a ticket to the Rockies game vs the Miami Marlins on August 18, 2012 at Coors Field.  There are seperate divisions for boys and girls and awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for each level of local competition.  Age as of 12/31/12 will determine eligibility- a birth certificate is required from each local winner to advance to regionals.

Four Star Baseball:

The E.V.R.P.D. Four Star Baseball program is a recreational travel league comprised of teams from smaller Front Range towns.  Four Star keeps in sight the meaning of fun, sportsmanship, and knowledge of the game, with a taste of higher competition. 

Dates: April 30 (Weather/field permitting) thru July

Ages:
Pee Wee: 9-10 YEARS OLD
Juniors: 11-12 YEARS OLD
Seniors: 13-14 YEARS OLD

** Age divisions based on the participant’s age as of 6/1/12

** A copy of the participant's birth certificate must be provided at the time of sign-up.  No exceptions.  Do not expect EVRPD to have birth certificates on file from previous years.

Pee Wee:  2x/week prior to games starting
Juniors:     2x/week prior to games starting
Seniors:    2x/week prior to games starting

No on-line registration will be available for 4 Star.  You must come into the EVRPD Administrative Office to register.

Registration is accepted on a first come/first served basis.  Each division will be limited to the first 30 players to register.  Each age division will be limited to the first 15 who register.  A waiting list will then be kept until a total of 26 players register, at which time two teams will be formed.  The status of forming the number of teams will be determined by the amount registered by the deadline.  Due to league scheduling, no teams will be formed after the registration deadline.  Teams may not be formed by the order in which registered.
