Boys and Girls Basketball:
For any last minute game cancellations, the Recreation Supervisor will call coaches as soon as possible and coaches will call their players. You may also call 586-8191, ext 3 for cancellations. This message has been updated as of 2/3/12, 12:40pm.
This recreational basketball program emphasizes FUN and DEVELOPMENT physically, psychologically, and socially. Teams are formed using volunteer coaches. Each team practices two days a week and plays on Saturday mornings.

Little Dribblers Basketball:
This Saturday morning instructional program is co-ed and introduces youngsters to basic basketball skills and emphasizes having FUN.

YOUTH BASKETBALL SKILLS CLINIC
This clinic is free and open to boys and girls in grades 2nd through 8th. This is a great opportunity for young players to learn new skills and drills in a fun environment. The clinic will be conducted by EP Bobcats Head Varsity Boys Basketball Coach, Chad Nachtrieb, and the Boys High School Basketball Team. The EVRPD will also be accepting registration for the upcoming Youth Basketball League at the clinic. This will be the last day for Early Registration.

Denver Nuggets Skills Challenge:
FREE to all girls and boys from ages 7-14, players will have a chance to test their skills in passing, shooting, and dribbling and compete for sectionals and state. There are separate divisions for boys and girls and awards for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place at each level of competition. Finalists compete for the state championship before a Denver Nuggets basketball game. State finalists and parents get tickets to the Nuggets game where the finals are held. Age as of 4/30/12 will determine eligibility – a birth certificate is required from the winners.
